The Chevrolet Cruze is by FAR the best sedan Chevy has (before the 2013 Malibu comes out!) The reason I say this is because you can get a 42 MPG rated car for less then 20,000!
Think about it for a moment. if you bought a 2011 Toyota Prius with a MSRP of 24,124 versus a 2011 Cruze Eco at 19,995 you will save $4,129.00
Lets do the MPG math:
when you compare the Prius at 51MPG and the Cruse Eco at 42 MPG you have 8 MPG's in favor to the Prius
at 3.99 a gallon with 15000 miles a year you will pay 1174 in gas if you drive the Prius. that is only 218 dollars better then the Cruze Eco! It will take you 19 years (4129/218=18.94) to get your money back for what you paid on the Prius.
With so many cars getting fantastic fuel economy there is no reason to buy a hybrid. Be smart with your money and buy a Cruze!
